Roof Replacement and Roof Repair in Bend

Most roof leaks in Central Oregon do not start in the middle of the roof. They start at a transition: where a dormer wall meets the shingles, where a chimney is flashed, in a valley, or at the eave where ice backs up under the first courses. Fixing the leak means fixing the flashing and often the siding and trim around it.

That is where Elite Construction Contracting is different from a roofing-only company. Siding is the core of our business, so the crew that repairs or replaces your roof is the same crew that opens the sidewall, replaces the rotted trim and closes it back up with proper flashing and paint. One contractor, one estimate, one job.

On full replacements we tear off the old roof, inspect and replace damaged decking, install new underlayment and flashing, and finish the fascia and soffit so the roofline looks as good as the roof itself.

Roofing Questions From Bend and Redmond Homeowners

How do I know if my roof needs to be replaced or just repaired?

If the damage is in one area, such as a leak at a chimney, a valley or a sidewall, a repair is usually the right call. If shingles are curling or shedding granules across the whole roof, or there are leaks in several places, replacement is the better investment. We tell you which one it is after we get on the roof, and we put the recommendation in writing.

How much does a new roof cost in Bend?

Roof cost depends on the square footage, the pitch, the number of layers to tear off, the material you choose and how much flashing and decking needs replacing. We do not quote roofs over the phone. Estimates are free and come in writing after a site visit.

Do you repair snow and ice damage?

Yes. Central Oregon winters push snow and ice against flashing, fascia and the lower courses of the roof, and that is where most of the leaks we see start. We repair the damage, correct the flashing that let water in, and replace fascia and soffit that has rotted.

Are you licensed and insured for roofing?

Yes. Elite Construction Contracting LLC holds Oregon CCB license #209888 with Residential General Contractor and Commercial General Contractor Level 2 endorsements, carries a $1,000,000 liability policy and a $25,000 surety bond, and has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 2017 with an A+ rating.

Can you fix the siding and trim where the roof meets the wall?

That is where we are different from most roofers. Siding is the core of our business, so when a roof repair involves a sidewall, a dormer or rotted trim, the same crew handles the siding, flashing and paint. You do not have to hire a second contractor to finish the job.

Do you work outside of Bend?

Yes. We handle roofing in Bend and Redmond, and roofing repairs in Sisters and Sunriver when they are part of a larger exterior job. Call (541) 497-0123 and we will tell you whether your address works.
